YONI ART TEMPLES
Yoni Drawing is a sacred drawing practice developed from life art (sketching a live nude model). Drawing the body enables us to look closely at shape, line, and form without the typical judgement we place on body parts. This is especially effective when drawing the vulva. Zoe has developed this self-life drawing practice that promotes respect, sacredness, and increases the level of self devotion.
Every sacred yoni drawing session also includes a sharing circle, reflection together, tools to help regulate your nervous system and a soothing meditation.

Luv Ya Vulva craft workshops add an extra layer of awareness and body literacy to help celebrate and learn about our precious parts.
We're all uniquely individual and artistic expression is a wonderful way to remind ourselves to love all our bits, just the way they are, and with a giggle or two along the way.

ART MODELLING WORKSHOP
Are you ready to see yourself as the beautiful, bountiful sacred body that you are? And be able to look in the mirror and love what you see? In this unique workshop learn the energetics and practicalities of life modelling and feel comfortable and confident in your skin. Join a small group to experience together the beauty of all our forms.
We journey into art history and the inherited taboos from our upbringing, society and culture, and together unpack why some of these beliefs are internalised.
Different workshops are held for women and men, and mixed gender workshops are also held separately.

MEET YOUR TEACHER
Why is it that I can show you the benefits of drawing your vulva or the naked form?
Well, I don’t just show you how to draw… I teach you how to see!
Teaching art and design at a tertiary level I specialise in life drawing and I have been a life model myself for nearly 10 years.
I have learned many things about the ways in which we see and judge the body, and how external cultural perceptions and our own limiting beliefs effect our creativity and sexuality. My work is self-reflective expressing personal experience and stories from pleasure to shame, including themes such as motherhood, menstruation, self pleasure, domestic duties, and even questioning art itself. Using drawing, painting, sound and multimedia installation the process of creating is more important to me than the product.
I am deeply humbled and honoured to guide people deeper into themselves through creative practice. Coupled with sacred ritual, meditation and play to find the wisdom within.

Held in the lush natural setting of the Waihoanga River Lodge, Otaki NZ, this retreat is a very special 4 night event designed especially to support women to completely accept themselves as sacred beings of creation.
With all accommodation, nourishing food, breathwork, yoga, meditation, empowerment and yoni practices all included, you will be nurtured by nature and the power of Sisterhood.

Naked in Nature Retreat Experience

Join Noosa naturists and body workers Duncan and Jacque, and life drawing model and artist Zoe Awen at a stunning naturist retreat lodge nestled in nature for a creative, relaxed weekend and hang out naked in nature. Enjoy morning naked yin yoga, bush walks, an interactive life drawing class, and book an optional Kahuna massage!
We have curated this retreat style experience to be casual, relaxed, self-catered and affordable! Accommodation is suited for couples in a choice of cabins with some self contained rooms and some shared facilities. This is not a catered retreat and guests are required to bring their own food and drinks. Some cabins have a self contained kitchen and ensuite, others share utilities with campers to promote a communal vibe. A number of camp sites are also available for caravans or vans. If you're coming solo please get in touch as pricing is based on twin share.
We also encourage everyone to bring something to share for the final meal on Sunday night and we'll have a little party!

Yoni Listening is a unique way of experiencing the female landscape – the vagina. This practice-led approach acoustically explores the vagina as a site of female agency, empowerment and innovation. This practice led research includes the creation of audio-visual recordings and soundscapes produced from sounds recorded within the body, specifically the vaginal canal as the core outcome. The acoustic explorations of the vagina are designed to be shared with diverse audiences by utilising state of the art digital technologies and high-quality equipment for broad artistic purposes.
