Emotional Expression

Sometimes we can’t find the words for how we feel about our body. Craft gives our inner voice expression and can help heal shame.

Mindfullness

Doing creative activities can produce what’s called the “flow state” which is similar to meditation. It lowers cortisol and blocks out daily worries.

Good Mental Health

Craft activities and trying something new can help lower stress by taking the pressure off and lowering the stakes of achieving anything.

FUN!

Whether it is solo or crafting in a group, the satisfaction from making something with our hands is great for general well being.
