ABOUT ME
Art has always been my way of expressing myself, ever since I was a child. I now use it to open the channel for discussion on sensitive or taboo subjects. A perpetual ‘over-sharer’ I love a good, deep existential conversation and also love to laugh bringing healing and a light heartedness to delicate matters.
Connecting people through imagery, design, installation and collaboration, my aim is to encourage people’s curiosity and deeper understanding of themselves. My current project Yoni Listening is a unique way of studying the body fusing art and technology. The practice led research includes the creation of recordings, soundscapes and visual reflections produced from sounds recorded within my body, specifically the vaginal canal, providing contemporary, creative and engaging work, promoting discussion to improve body image and wellbeing. My mission is to help all vaginas feel sacred again through art, ritual and conversation challenging the language and visuality of the female experience.
I’m here to channel knowledge through art, helping bring reverence BACK to OUR bodies, cycles and to help ALL vaginas feel sacred again.
Incorporating embodiment principles, body literacy and self-pleasure practices and mediation into my work and teachings, I find potent change in craft circles, conversation and sharing stories.
I've studied fine art, art history, life drawing, sound and listening, feminism, taboo and shame, menstrual art, performance art, and self pleasure. As well as tantric and intimacy practices, meditation and embodiment which all inform my work and offerings. As a life model for many years I have studied the powerful effects of being truely seen and witnessing others in safe, healthy ways.
Passionate about also helping other women find the same enthusiasm for their own bodies and self-care, I am not afraid to address and confront difficult topics. Motherhood, sex, body dysmorphia, divorce and even illness have all contributed to my work and challenged me to think about broader social, political and cultural issues women are faced with today.
